The Mohegan Tribe, operator of the Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs Casino in northeastern Pennsylvania, has opened a 238-room hotel and convention center to go along with the casino.
The hotel is in Plains, Pa., about 125 miles northwest of New York City and about 110 miles north of Philadelphia. The casino has been open since 2006.
The Mohegan Tribe also operates a Mohegan Sun hotel-casino in southeastern Connecticut.
