LaSalle Hotel Properties acquired the Westin San Francisco Market Street for $350 million and changed the name of the hotel.

The 681-room hotel is now operating as the Park Central Hotel San Francisco. Highgate Hotels remains the hotel’s management company.

The property, built in 1984, is in San Francisco’s South of Market District, about a block from the Moscone Center convention complex. The hotel has 23,000 square feet of meeting space.

In San Francisco, the iconic Westin St. Francis remains in Westin’s portfolio.
