Oberoi Hotels & Resorts plans to make its U.K. debut with the opening of a luxury hotel in London's Mayfair district.
Scheduled to open at the end of 2027, the Oberoi Mayfair will be part of a development on South Molton Street that will also have offices, housing, shops, restaurants and community facilities. Construction began late last year.
Oberoi executive chairman Arjun Oberoi highlighted London's importance as a key market for clientele, calling the Oberoi Mayfair "an important milestone in our international growth."
Oberoi currently has 21 hotels and resorts across Asia, North Africa and the Middle East, including a dozen in its home market of India.
The luxury brand joins London's hospitality landscape amid a wave of high-end hotel development.
