India-based luxury resort operator Oberoi Group has
reached an agreement to manage a Maldives resort.
The company has signed a memorandum of understanding
with the Maldives government. Bangalore-based Subramanya Construction &
Development Co. will develop the site.
No details on the size of the resort or projected
opening date were disclosed.
Oberoi oprates 30 hotels and two Nile River cruise
excursions.
