Orient-Express is launching an "associate" collection of hotels for which Orient-Express will provide sales and marketing services.
The first hotel to join the associate program is Hotel du Palais in Biarritz, France.
Orient-Express is trying to expand its geographic reach beyond its 45 hotels. Associate hotels will be listed under Orient-Express' "OE" code in the GDSs.
Hotel du Palais was built more than a century ago as a private residence for Napoleon III. The property, which has Atlantic Ocean views, has 154 rooms.
