The Radisson Aruba Resort, Casino & Spa reopened its 113-room Aruba Tower on Thursday, marking the completion of the property’s $26 million renovation, which began in April 2010.
The project included the refurbishment of all 355 guestrooms in three towers, updates to the public areas and expansion of the reception area and open-air lobby.
The resort’s Sunset Grille and Mira Solo martini bar have new decor and furnishings, and the on-site aviary program has been expanded to enable guests to view nine tropical birds (in cages) throughout the property.
Amenities in the guestrooms, suites, penthouse and Plaza Club level rooms include complimentary WiFi, double-pane windows, climate-control systems with dehumidifiers and new bedding and linens.
Introductory rates for winter 2012 for bookings made by Dec. 15, 2011, start at $337 per room, per night, double in a standard guest room from Jan. 1 to 31 and March 10to April 8.
Rates increase to $365 in February and drop to $209 from April 9 through Dec. 21.
Service charges and taxes of 23.5% are extra.
