WASHINGTON -- Renaissance Hotels, Resorts and Suites added its
first ski resort to its roster of properties with the conversion of
a 101-room hotel in Jackson Hole, Wyo.
Formerly the Best Western Jackson Hole Resort and Conference
Center, the reflagged Renaissance Resort & Spa is at the base
of the Jackson Hole ski area in Teton Village.
The hotel, which was refurbished in 1997, will be expanded with
the addition of a five-level spa and pool complex, slated for
completion this May.
Also under construction is a one-, two- and three-bedroom
condominium complex, to open in December.
The property features a 3,500-square-foot conference center,
built in 1998, which can accommodate up to 200 people. The
conversion brings the number of Renaissance Hotels properties to
81.
The property is owned and operated as a franchise by Sojourner
Lodge Management of Jackson Hole.
Renaissance Hotels, Resorts and Suites is a full-service lodging
brand of Marriott International.
