Scheduled to open in 2026, both hotels will be part of the city's China National Convention Center Phase II complex.

The 8.4-million-square-foot project, which is an expansion of facilities previously utilized as part of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, will ultimately comprise the hotels, conference and event space, retail outlets, recreational facilities and offices.

The complex's 282-room Ritz-Carlton Beijing North will be home to six dining venues, an indoor pool, a fitness center, a Ritz-Carlton spa and conference and event space. It will be the third Ritz-Carlton in Beijing, joining the Ritz-Carlton Beijing and the Ritz-Carlton Beijing Financial Street.

The Beijing Marriott Marquis Hotel will be the first Marriott Marquis in Beijing. The 671-room property will feature several culinary concepts, including an all-day restaurant, a specialty restaurant and a lobby bar and lounge, and additional amenities like a pool and fitness center, an executive club lounge and conference, and event and meeting space.
