Tropicana Entertainment completed its $260 million acquisition of the Lumiere Place resort in St. Louis.
The resort includes two hotels, the Four Seasons St. Louis and the HoteLumiere, and the Lumiere Place Casino.
Tropicana announced last August that it would buy the hotels and casino. HoteLumiere, built in 2007, has 294 rooms. The Four Seasons, which opened a year later, has 200 rooms.
Pinnacle Entertainment sold the properties in order to comply with a Federal Trade Commission mandate to reduce its casino holdings in the St. Louis market.
Pinnacle owns the River City Casino & Hotel in St. Louis, and added an Ameristar casino hotel in nearby St. Charles, Mo., when the company completed its $2.8 billion acquisition of Ameristar Casinos last year.
