The W Edinburgh, Scotland’s first W hotel, is scheduled to open
in 2021.
The W Edinburgh will be part of
Edinburgh St. James, a 1.7 million-square-foot mixed-use project that will include 850,000 square feet of retail space, a movie theater and as many as 250 residences.
The hotel will have 214 guestrooms and
feature a rooftop bar. The hotel’s façade will include design touches such as a winding steel
“ribbon.”
