W Hotels has unveiled plans to open a second hotel in Bali next year.

The W Bali -- Ubud will join the existing W Bali -- Seminyak, which opened in 2010. The Ubud outpost will be a part of the W Escape portfolio, which seeks to showcase a "playfully luxe take on the traditional resort experience" across a variety of global beach, ski and entertainment destinations.

The W Bali -- Ubud will comprise 100 guestrooms, including 10 villas with private swimming pools and an EWOW suite, the brand's take on a presidential suite.

The property will offer two pools, with one being a designated "quiet pool" and the other featuring a deck area and a rice paddy-inspired terraced pool. Additional amenities include an outpost of W's Away Spa and outdoor and indoor meeting and event spaces.

On the food and beverage front, the hotel will feature all-day restaurant Morinda, which will blend traditional Asian flavors with international influences, and the Sunset Bar, a poolside venue. A second full-service restaurant, Synn, will be located partially underground and feature a menu centered on Balinese and other cuisines.

The property will also house Fit Bar, a gym bar that will serve fresh-pressed juices by day and transition into a bar at night, and Wanderbar, a cocktail bar offering 360-degree island views.
