Minor Hotels will open its first Wolseley hotel early next year in New York.
The 76-room Wolseley Hotel New York will occupy a landmark 1905 building currently home to the Chatwal Hotel and the Lambs Club restaurant.
The hotel will introduce The Wolseley restaurant and bar to the U.S. The hotel also will have a wellness center and a cellar speakeasy.
The concept draws its inspiration from The Wolseley, a London restaurant brand owned by Minor Hotels. The Wolseley currently has two London restaurants: the original Wolseley Piccadilly in Mayfair, which debuted in 2003, and Wolseley City, which opened in 2023.
Bangkok-based Minor Hotels introduced The Wolseley Hotels last July, positioning it at as luxury brand alongside the company's Anantara, Elewana and Tivoli flags.
