Citing improving travel conditions, the Globus family of brands today said it would resume limited international operations in June for the first time since last March.
Globus CEO Scott Nisbet said the first trips will be with its Globus and Monograms brands to Iceland, Costa Rica and Ecuador, "with hopes of expanding travel opportunities in additional destinations throughout the summer months, as more people are vaccinated and more borders open."
Additionally, the company said Globus will resume domestic trips in May, and Globus and Cosmos will be expanding their offerings for regional travelers in Australia, New Zealand and the U.K.
"We are thrilled to welcome travelers back to the world," Nisbet said. "We have spent the last year preparing for the day when we can resume travel and look forward to bringing travelers the incredible vacation they've been dreaming of, looking forward to and deserve."
The Globus brands, which include Avalon Waterways, require that all guests be vaccinated against Covid-19 or provide proof of a negative test within 72 hours of arrival or proof of recovery within the past three months.
