Intrepid Travel has announced a new collection of itineraries for premium family travel launching in December.

The tour operator debuted the portfolio with eight trips in Costa Rica, Sri Lanka, India, Borneo, Vietnam, Morocco, Thailand and Egypt, designed for groups of three to five families. The collection features elevated accommodations and kid-focused travel experiences.

Intrepid said it launched the collection due to growing demand for "hassle-free" family travel. The new itineraries add to the line's family range, but elevates the offerings.

The demand for the brand's family offerings grew 19% in 2025 compared to the previous year.

"What makes the Premium family range exciting is how much thought has gone into every stage of the journey, from the accommodations and inclusions to the leaders we've chosen to run these trips," said Leigh Barnes, Intrepid's president of the Americas. "We've listened closely to what families actually want, and the result is something that feels genuinely effortless without sacrificing any of the depth and authenticity Intrepid is known for."

The itineraries include experiences like cooking with local families or taking Arabic calligraphy classes. Unique experiences include spending the night in a Sahara Desert camp while in Morocco and staying in an overwater villa in Borneo.
