LAWRENCE, Kan. -- Maupintour created three new U.S. tours and six
itineraries outside the country for the holiday season this year.
The Winter Holiday brochure, which features the full 34 program
series, was produced in a more compact size this year.
New in the U.S. is a six-day New England tour, highlighted by
Thanksgiving dinner at Plymouth Plantation; a seven-day Carolina
Christmas with Christmas dinner at Pinehurst Resort, and a six-day
Boston New Year's program with a performance of the Boston Pops at
Symphony Hall.
The new international tours are a five-day Paris Christmas
program; a seven-day New Year's in Paris; an eight-day Swiss Alpine
Christmas; a 10-day Nile New Year's cruise; a 16-day Southeast
Asian Holiday with a nine-day cruise on the Crown Odyssey, and a
10-day Galapagos Islands program featuring a five-day cruise.
The prices range from $1,575 (New England) to $1,855 (Carolina
Christmas) per person, double, for the U.S. programs.
For the international tours, rates start at $2,240 (Paris
Christmas) and run to $4,945 (Southeast Asian Holiday) per person,
double.
