The U.S. Tour Operators Association has created a new position to oversee the travel organization's sustainability and diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.

Molly Laycob has been hired as the USTOA's first global social impact manager.

The newly created role will support the development and implementation of USTOA's corporate social responsibility platform to include sustainability and DEI efforts. Laycob will be responsible for leading initiatives and projects that positively impact USTOA members and the communities in which they operate.

Prior to her new role, Laycob held positions in sustainability at educational travel tour operator WorldStrides and was most recently the sustainability manager for the Village of Glenview, Illinois.

Laycob will serve as a liaison between USTOA and other trade associations and support members in promoting and raising awareness of sustainability and DEI.
