ARC to process for Hawaiian, Avianca

ARLINGTON, Va. -- ARC said it will continue to process travel agent transactions -- including sales, refunds, and exchanges -- for Hawaiian Airlines and Avianca, both of which filed for bankruptcy protection March 21.

Hawaiian Airlines filed for voluntary reorganization under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code in the District of Hawaii in Honolulu.

Similarly, ARC said it would continue to process transactions for Avianca Airlines, which voluntarily filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on March 21.

ARC said it would process transactions for the carrier, which, like Hawaiian, intends to continue operating its schedule of flights.

Avianca filed for reorganize under Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection at Court for the Southern District of New York (Manhattan), in New York City.
