Just over 96% of American travelers surveyed in a Travel Leaders Group poll last month indicated that the Zika virus has not impacted their travel plans this year.

The poll found that 2.6% altered their plans by traveling to a different destination, 0.9% delayed a trip and 0.6 canceled a trip.

Travel Leaders reported that 21.2% traveled to a country with confirmed cases of Zika this year. And, 23.2% plan to travel this year to a country with confirmed cases, 30.9% do not have plans to travel this year to a country with confirmed cases, 29.3% don’t have plans to travel to a country with Zika but had no intention of going to those countries anyway, and 16.6% said they didn't know.

The survey was conducted April 4-30 and included responses from 3,431 consumers throughout the U.S.
