Phil Cappelli has been named Avoya Travel's chief sales officer.
Most recently, Cappelli was Signature Travel Network's senior vice president of preferred partnerships. Before that, he was the U.S. president at Insight Vacations and Luxury Gold. He also held a number of management roles at Tauck World Discovery.
His role at Avoya is a new one for the Fort Lauderdale-based host agency, which sits at No. 28 on Travel Weekly's 2023 Power List.
