CWT has promoted Nick Vournakis and Derek Sharp to executive vice president-level positions. Vournakis will serve as EVP and chief customer officer, while Sharp is the company's new EVP and chief traveler experience officer. Both posts are effective Dec. 1.
Previously, Vournakis was managing director of global customer development for CWT, ranked No. 5 on Travel Weekly's 2021 Power List. Before that, he was president of U.S. military and government. He has been with the company since 2000.

Sharp was most recently the COO of RoomIt, CWT's hotel program. Before that, he ran CWT Meetings and Events, and prior to that spent eight years in senior management roles with Travelport.
In their new posts, both Vournakis and Sharp will report to CEO Michelle McKinney Frymire.
