Carnival Cruise Line is holding a six-month contest to find
and recognize America's most trusted travel advisor.
In addition to the title, the winning advisor will get a
cruise on the Mardi Gras -- Carnival's largest ship debuting in August 2020 --
roundtrip airfare and a $1,000 bonus.
The contest enlists travel advisors to work with their
clients, who will submit short written stories about why their advisor is the
most trusted "by recalling a time when they saved the day, made them feel
extra special or went above and beyond the call of duty."
Three finalists will be announced in November at
CruiseWorld, a Travel Weekly event in Fort Lauderdale. Each will be flown to
the conference by Carnival. The first and second runners-up also will receive a
cruise for two aboard the Mardi Gras and roundtrip airfare to the embarkation
city.
"We're going to be sharing stories about great travel
agent relationship with their clients," said Adolfo Perez, Carnival's
senior vice president of sales and trade marketing. "It's an opportunity
for the agent to connect with their clients, and an opportunity for us to
gather great testimonials and content to share, that other travel agents can
share and really show the value they provide and how special these
relationships can be," Perez said.

through Oct. 29 and will be judged by the Carnival sales team, along with ASTA senior
vice president of membership and strategic partnerships Ann Chamberlin and CLIA
vice president of membership and trade relations Charles Sylvia.
