Cruise Planners (No. 20 on Travel Weekly's 2023 Power List) said the week of Feb. 19 was its best on the books for sales. The travel agency franchisor did not release a specific sales number.

Cruise Planners is seeing positive trends going forward. Right now, 2024 departures are 19% higher than they were at this time in 2023. The company said it is up 33% on bookings for 2025 departures compared to year-ahead bookings from last year.

Cruise Planners attributed the increase to growing demand among consumers for "curated travel experiences." CEO Michelle Fee also attributed it to the company's business model.

"We actively design programs and systems to streamline our advisors' businesses, arming them with top-notch offers, support and the best marketing and technology tools in the industry," Fee said.

Cruise Planners achieved $1 billion in sales in 2023. Founded in 1994, this year marks its 30th anniversary.
