CruiseOne/Dream Vacations and Cruises Inc. have formed a
partnership with David's Bridal to give agents access to the company's
customers through "multiple channels," including an in-store
presence.
The World Travel Holdings brands said in addition to having a
presence in David's Bridal stores to meet with brides before and after their
dress fittings, they will also be able to participate in in-store events and
will be included in David’s Bridal promotional emails to brides. They will also
have "social media opportunities" with David’s Bridal, as well.
In addition to the David’s Bridal program, CruiseOne/Dream
Vacations and Cruises Inc. said it has negotiated promotions with select
vendors, and agents will be given a creative kit with brand collateral to use
in stores.
According to CruiseOne/Dream Vacations and Cruises Inc., there is
"minimal" cost for agents to participate in the program with David's
Bridal.
Drew Daly, Cruise One and Cruises Inc.'s general manager of
network engagement and performance, said the partnership will give agents the
opportunity to expand their customer base.
"From destination weddings to minimoons, honeymoons and
babymoons, a travel agent plays a key role in several of life's momentous
occasions," he said in a statement. "This partnership also has the
potential to extend beyond wedding events and can include prom, sweet 16s and
quinceaneras, and more, not to mention develop relationships with others in the
wedding party such as bridesmaids and mothers of the brides."
David's Bridal has about 320 U.S. locations.
