Flight Centre Travel Group has promoted Christina Pedroni to executive vice president and general manager of its independent, premium and Liberty Travel brands in the Americas.

Pedroni has been with the company for 17 years, start as a consultant with Liberty Travel. She has held a number of leadership roles over the years, most recently as senior vice president of Liberty Travel and Independent by Liberty Travel.
In her new role, she is responsible for leading Flight Centre's leisure brands in the U.S. and Canada.
"The past two-and-a-half years demonstrated the undeniable value of the travel advisor, and we'll be working hard to deliver essential solutions to all of our current and future advisors to enable their businesses to flourish," she said in a release.
Pedroni will be based at Flight Centre's Americas headquarters in Montvale, N.J.
