Generali Global Assistance (GGA) and Europ Assistance Canada have elevated several executives to support the brands' growth in North America.
GGA CEO Chris Carnicelli was promoted to CEO of North America, with his purview now expanding to include the U.S. and Canada. He is managing GGA and Trip Mate in the U.S. as well as Europ in Canada.
Europ CEO Rob Iafrate will report to Carnicelli.
Additionally, GGA's chief operating officer Paul-Adrien Maizener was promoted to CEO of the U.S.
Henrik Romberg, GGA's chief commercial officer, has an expanded role. In addition to the vacation rental, OTA and retail business lines that GGA operates, Romberg now oversees its tour and cruise business line under Trip Mate.
"Expanding our leadership structure across North America is a natural next step in support of our long-term growth ambitions," Carnicelli said in a release. "This evolution allows us to better align our teams, strengthen collaboration across North American markets and continue delivering trusted travel protection solutions to our partners and customers."
