The Globus family of brands has become a Sapphire-level partner to ASTA, marking the supplier's largest investment in the travel advisor organization.

Sapphire is the highest partnership level ASTA offers. Globus was previously a Diamond partner.

"The overall health and strength of travel advisors is critical to the success of Globus, Cosmos and Avalon Waterways," said Camille Olivere, chief sales officer for the Globus family of brands. "Our significant investment in ASTA is a critical component of our Partner for Profit strategy. Globus continues to provide best-in-class commission payments and timing (at final payment) with flexible policies and product delivery advisors can count on. We are 100% committed to the success of our travel advisor partners and the continued strength of ASTA."

Because of its commission-payment policy, Globus was on ASTA's inaugural list of suppliers who pay advisors in a timely manner, which was released last year.

ASTA's other Sapphire partners are Carnival Corp., Chase, Norwegian Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean International, Sandals, Signature Travel Network and Virtuoso.
