Cappelli joined Avoya in the fall of 2023 from Signature Travel Network, where he was senior vice president of preferred partnerships. Before that, he was the U.S. president at Insight Vacations and Luxury Gold. Cappelli has also held management roles at Tauck.

Kazlauskas had been Avoya's CEO since August, after previous co-CEOs Jeff and Michael Anderson sold their stake in the company to private equity firm Certares.

Addressing Kazlauskas' departure, Avoya said, "We are grateful for his contributions during a pivotal period, including the successful transition following Avoya's acquisition by Certares earlier this year."

Avoya is No. 37 on Travel Weekly's Power List, recording $576 million in 2024 sales.
