Thatcher Brown has rejoined Virtuoso as special advisor to the chief operating officer, cruise.

The role is a new one for Virtuoso, which said Brown's appointment signifies its investment in the cruise space.
Brown was most recently CEO of residential cruise line Crescent Seas. Before that, he was Virtuoso's senior vice president of global products.
Virtuoso's COO is Brad Bourland. Brown will also work closely with Cory Hagopian, senior vice president of global partnerships.
The consortium's cruise business will continue to be overseen by Lori Sheller, vice president of global cruise.
"By pairing Thatcher's deep industry expertise with strong execution leadership and senior oversight, we are shaping a truly global cruise partnership model — one that leverages Virtuoso's worldwide footprint to connect our partners with the right member agencies and advisors, reach more high-value travelers and drive long-term growth," Bourland said in a release.
