Sabre inks 10-year IT deal with Google: Travel Weekly

Sabre has partnered with Google to leverage its Google Cloud technology, analytics and talent.

Sabre outlined three main initiatives of the 10-year partnership.

First, Sabre will migrate its IT infrastructure to Google Cloud. The support and flexibility will help Sabre meet technology objectives.

Second, Sabre will use Google Cloud’s data-analytics tools to enhance products’ capabilities.

“They will provide Sabre with insights to help them improve operational efficiency and create and optimize travel options, improving both loyalty and revenues for its customers,” Sabre said.

Finally, Google Cloud and Sabre will use talent and assets from both companies to develop future capabilities.

“As our preferred cloud provider and broader strategic partner, Google Cloud will help to accelerate our digital transformation and ability to create a new marketplace and critical products and systems focused on our customer needs for decades to come,” Sabre president and CEO Sean Menke said.
