American residents from every state within the U.S. can now enter Curacao; until now, only U.S. visitors from New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and later Florida were allowed to enter.

The island has eliminated the previously required 14-day quarantine period upon arrival. Visitors must complete a digital immigration card, fill out a passenger locator card within 48 hours of departure and upload proof of a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of traveling.

Direct flights have resumed from Miami on American, Newark on United and JFK on JetBlue.

"We feel confident in our ability to safely welcome back all American travelers and provide them with an experience in a responsible ways that also considers the well being of Curacao's local community," said Paul Pennicook, CEO of the Curacao Tourist Board.
