Spice Island Beach Resort on Grand Anse Beach on Grenada has set a tentative reopening date of Nov. 1.
The resort said its team has been monitoring local, regional and international developments related to the pandemic and believes that the property can play an integral role in the economic recovery of the island and the hospitality sector.
"The management and staff will make the necessary adjustments to the resort's operations to adapt to the new normal that will be required once travel and social restrictions have been eased by the government of Grenada," said Janelle Hopkin, president and managing director, succeeded her father Sir Royston Hopkin to the post following his death in February.
The 64-suite property is working with guidelines of health officials regarding the virus, particularly the protocols required for restaurants and hotels along with the accompanying amenities and services, according to Hopkin.
The resort's reservations team is available weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at (473) 444-4258 and through email at [email protected]
