The Harmony of the Seas set sail from its new summer homeport of Barcelona on Aug. 15, marking Royal Caribbean International's return to Western Europe cruising.

It is Royal Caribbean's third ship to launch in Europe this year, following two ship restarts in July, the Jewel of the Seas from Cyprus and the Anthem of the Seas from the U.K., which is sailing cruises for U.K. nationals only.

Many ships have returned to service, and many others will be back this fall and winter.

The Harmony and the Jewel are both open to North American guests.

The Harmony, an Oasis-class ship, is sailing a series of seven-day cruises through October, visiting Palma de Mallorca before sailing to Italy, where passengers can visit Florence, Rome and Naples. Guests will have the option to embark in Italy and sail roundtrip from Civitavecchia.

All crew and passengers 18 years of age and older must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19 to sail on the Harmony. Minors under 18 can sail with a negative test result and must follow other health and safety protocols.
