Louis Cruises will change the name of the Norwegian Majesty to the Louis Majesty when the ship begins sailing the Mediterranean for Louis on Dec. 4.

Cyprus-based Louis bought the ship from Star Cruises, one of Norwegian Cruise Line’s owners, in July 2008. NCL is chartering the Majesty until the end of October.

The Majesty was built in 1992. The 1,790-passenger ship was lengthened and refurbished in 1999.
