Royal Caribbean said the Up, Up & Away helium balloon ride on Perfect Day at CocoCay is temporarily closed for maintenance.
The cruise line said that guests who reserved the experience are receiving updates and refunds. Royal Caribbean did not provide a reopening date.
Up, Up and Away is one of several activities offered on Perfect Day at CocoCay, Royal Caribbean's private island in the Bahamas. When the attraction was open, guests paid $39 to $99 per person to ride, depending on the season.
Other experiences on CocoCay include a water park with several slides, a 1,600-foot-long zipline, a kayaking adventure and a glass-bottom boat tour.
