Silversea opened sales for the inaugural season of the Silver Endeavour, the expedition ship formerly owned by Crystal Cruises.

The 200-passenger Endeavour will sail 12 Antarctica cruises beginning Nov. 21. Voyages on the polar-class vessel range from five to 20 days and include air-cruise packages that fly over the Drake Passage and land at King George Island; an extended "Deep South" expedition from Puerto Williams on Feb. 12 that attempts to cross the 69th parallel; and a 10-day voyage to the Antarctic Peninsula departing from Puerto Williams on March 4.

Silversea also unveiled seven suite categories aboard the Endeavour. The ship, bought for $275 million in Crystal Cruises' bankruptcy, was home to three suite categories under its prior ownership.

The largest is the Owners Suite, which spans 1,868 square feet with a 737-square-foot balcony at the bow. The space includes a large living room, separate dining room, a bar area and two bedrooms with bathrooms.

Another space will be the Grand Suite, a 1,668-square-foot space with a living room, separate dining area, bedroom with a walk-in closet, additional bedroom area to accommodate a third guest and a 684-square-foot balcony. The Silver Suite measures 535 square feet and includes floor-to-ceiling windows in all living areas, a living room, dining area, a bedroom with a walk-in closet and a 78-square-foot balcony.

Premium, deluxe, superior and classic veranda suites will resemble traditional Silversea layouts. Each 356-square-foot suite includes a 52-square-foot balcony.
