Two of Regent Seven Seas Cruises' ships will undergo renovations, a multimillion-dollar project that will include a full furnishing update in every suite, a new pizzeria and new carpeting.
Seven Seas Mariner will be the first to drydock, starting Nov. 3 in Marseille, France, with a Nov. 26 completion date. Seven Seas Voyager will drydock in 2026 from April 26 to May 21.
In addition to all new furnishings, suites are getting new hardware, carpeting and lighting. The Signature, Grand, Mariner, Voyager, Seven Seas and Horizon suites will receive a redesigned marble bathroom.
The pizzeria will be an addition to the Pool Grill, which will receive a fully renovated dining space. Lush new carpeting will be introduced in corridors and other public spaces.
Regent declined to provide a dollar amount for the renovation cost.
The renovation announcement follows news that Regent Seven Seas parent Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings is chartering out Regent's oldest ship, Seven Seas Navigator, to Crescent Seas, a residential cruise line led by former NCLH chairman Russell W. Galbut.
Regent will take the Navigator out of service in mid-October.
