Windstar on
Tuesday christened the Star Legend, the last of three former Seabourn ships to
join the Windstar fleet following a refurbishment.
Gloria Bohan,
president and CEO of Omega World Travel and Cruise.com, was godmother of the
212-passenger ship, the former Seabourn Legend.
The ceremony took
place in Civitavecchia, Italy (the port for Rome), in front of a crowd of 250
guests, media and trade partners.
Windstar now has
three sailing yachts and three power yachts in its fleet. The power yachts all
are former Seabourn ships. The second of the power yachts, the Star Breeze,
entered service earlier this month. The first, the Star Pride, joined
Windstar’s fleet in May 2014.
