The Chateau d'Ouchy, sister hotel of the Beau-Rivage Palace in Lausanne, Switzerland, and fellow member of the Sandoz Foundation Hotels group, unveiled a new dining option this month.
The 57 Grill is an open-concept kitchen featuring a modern, urban design set within the 12th-century chateau. The menu offers such local fare as chicken from Gruyeres, beef from the Alps and lamb from Valais.
The four-star hotel is located directly on Lake Geneva, adjacent to the Beau-Rivage Palace and the Angleterre & Residence.
Guests at the hotels and at the Lausanne Palace in city center can take advantage of reciprocal dining privileges, including at the two Michelin-starred Anne-Sophie Pic restaurant at the Beau-Rivage Palace, with the option of charging their meals back to their rooms.
Finally, on June 19, the Beau-Rivage Palace will open its Le Montreux floating restaurant, which operates into September. New this year are wine tastings onboard, offered in combination with roundtrip tours from Lausanne to Chillon Castle.
