Eurowings has begun nonstop service between New York's JFK Airport and Dusseldorf, Germany.

The service operates Wednesdays through Mondays aboard Airbus A340-300 aircraft and features three class configurations, including the new Eurowings BizClass.

The carrier, a Lufthansa Group subsidiary, offers connecting flights throughout Europe from its Dusseldorf and Munich hubs.

The service can be booked through United Airlines, with whom Eurowings codeshares for transatlantic flights.
