Hyatt Regency hotels marked its entry into Spain with the Oct. 2 opening of the fully renovated Hyatt Regency Hesperia Madrid.
Located on the Paseo de la Castellana, the 169-room hotel is located about 30 minutes from the airport and in close proximity to businesses, banks and embassies as well as luxury retail shops and historical sites.

Accommodations include 33 suites overlooking the Paseo de la Castellana, and suites on the top floor feature garden terraces and private hot tubs.

Eateries include the two-Michelin-starred restaurant Santceloni, a member of the Relais & Chateaux and Les Grandes Tables du Monde restaurant associations, which is overseen by executive chef Oscar Velasco, and La Manzana, for seasonal market cuisine.

There are more than 12,270 square feet of flexible event spaces, a 4,510-square-foot ballroom and a rooftop gym.

The Hyatt Regency Hesperia Madrid was rebranded from the Hesperia Madrid Hotel and is managed by Hesperia Hotels & Resorts. It is the fourth Hyatt hotel to open in Spain, following the Hyatt Centric Gran Via Madrid, the Hotel Sofia Barcelona and the Park Hyatt Mallorca.
