Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants has opened its second property in Scotland, the Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel in Glasgow.

The 113-room hotel, which opened May 15, is the sister property of the Kimpton Charlotte Square, which debuted in Edinburgh in March.

Accommodations include a two-bedroom Penthouse Suite with a private elevator and entrance, a sunken bathtub, walk-in wardrobe and views of the city.

Located in a traditional Georgian townhouse, the hotel features marble fireplaces and high ceilings in the public rooms. Eateries include Bo & Birdy restaurant, serving Scottish classic cuisine and an expansive cocktail menu, and the Salon for afternoon tea or an evening whisky overlooking Blythswood Square gardens.

Other features include private dining and a roof garden for large groups, a screening room for private events and a spa with a hydrotherapy pool, crystal steam room, relaxation pools and nine treatment rooms.

Perks include a nightly hosted social hour, free bikes for exploring the city, in-room yoga mats and Kimpton's "Forgot It, We've Got It" service of travel items. The hotel welcomes pets at no extra charge.

Rates for double rooms at the Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel start at $200.
