The U.K. will drop all Covid-related entry requirements on Friday.
Beginning at 4 a.m. local time that day (midnight Eastern Daylight Time), travelers to the U.K., both vaccinated and unvaccinated, will no longer be required to take Covid tests either before or after arrival, and they won't be required to fill out a passenger locator form.
The U.K. had previously dropped testing requirements for vaccinated travelers.
Testing requirements remain in place until Friday for unvaccinated travelers.
"I said we wouldn't keep travel measures in place for any longer than necessary, which we're delivering on today -- providing more welcome news and greater freedom for travelers ahead of the Easter holidays," U.K. transport secretary Grant Schapps said in a prepared remark Thursday.
