Unico Hotels, a Barcelona-based luxury hotel company, is set to open Finca Serena this spring on Mallorca, the company’s first property outside Barcelona and Madrid.

Located in the Pla de Mallorca, the 25-room property is located on a 100-acre estate surrounded by olive groves; lemon, jacaranda, cypress and pine trees; lavender fields; and newly planted grapes.

Guestrooms and suites, many of which are in the former outbuildings of the original farm, are scattered throughout the property. Design elements include natural fabrics and local stone, and many guestrooms offer terraces or are set beside a garden.

Each room has views overlooking the estate, olive groves or countryside as well as free WiFi and satellite TV.

The Restaurant Jacaranda, with indoor and outdoor dining overlooking the pool, is overseen by chef Cristian Peguero and serves farm-to-table cuisine, including produce from the three kitchen gardens and the property’s fruit trees.

Amenities include nearly four miles of jogging trails, yoga and meditation classes and a spa, which features an indoor pool, fitness equipment and a sauna.

Guests ages 14 and older are welcome.
