Aqua Hotels & Resorts took over management of the 135-room Waikiki property previously known as the Honolulu Prince Hotel.
Renamed the Aqua Waikiki Pearl, the hotel is owned by New York-based Ramsfield Hospitality Finance and recently underwent a $5 million refurbishment.
"It was exciting to watch the Aqua Waikiki Pearl evolve from a neglected property into a stylish, modern hotel in central Waikiki," said Ramsfield Hospitality President Richard Mandel. "It was literally a top-to-bottom refurbishment process including the lobby and elevators."
