The Pan-Pacific Festival returns this year on the island of Oahu from Ala Moana to Waikiki. The festival starts on Friday, June 13 and continues through the weekend, ending June 15.
Celebrating diverse cultures, the festival will be filled with a schedule of cultural activities, musical and dance performances and a hoolaulea block party. Full details have not been released yet.
"We are thrilled to continue the tradition of bringing together cultures from around the Pan-Pacific to celebrate our global community," Yusuke Komoriya, president of the Pan-Pacific Festival Foundation, said in a news release. "The festival symbolizes unity and cultural exchange, with performances ranging from taiko to hula by both local and international artists."
