Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has found a new general manager for Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea from within its own ranks.
Marc Bromley has been tapped to take over operations of the resort, transferring from his post as general manager at Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North. Bromley has been with the hospitality company for 12 years total, and has held positions at the Four Seasons Hotel Chicago, Four Seasons Hotel Washington, D.C., Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach and Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica at Peninsula Papagayo.
He also comes from a family with a history in hospitality. His father, Stan Bromley, was a hotelier who retired as regional vice president and general manager of Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco.
"When my brother Jordan and I were young, we were told to clean our rooms like any other kid," Bromley said in a statement. "However, our room cleaning came with a full inspection afterwards, complete with checking the closet and drawers where every kid jams their mess! If there was paper or trash on the floor - and we neglected to pick it up - a lesson in attention to detail would ensue."
Bromley learned about varied areas of the industry, working line positions from housekeeping to stewarding and laundry. He graduated from University of Nevada Las Vegas with a degree in Hotel Administration
"It's nice to be welcomed to a place that exudes so much hospitality and kindness," Bromleys said of coming to the Aloha State. "I'm most excited to contribute to the energy of this iconic team, as well as to local community."
