Hawaiian Airlines has announced new nonstop routes between the Aloha State and three U.S. mainland destinations: Orlando; Austin, Texas; and Ontario, Calif.
Additionally, the airline plans to expand service at Long Beach, Calif., with new daily, nonstop flights to Maui's Kahului Airport scheduled to launch March 9.
Twice-weekly flights between Honolulu and Orlando Airport are slated to start March 11, making the central Florida city a third East Coast gateway for the airline, joining New York JFK and Boston. The nonstop Orlando-Honolulu route will operate using Hawaiian's 278-seat Airbus A330 aircraft.
Service between Honolulu and Ontario, located about 40 miles east of Los Angeles, will begin March 16 with plans for five weekly nonstop flights using Airbus A321neo aircraft.
Starting April 21, Austin will become the 16th U.S. city in the Hawaiian Airlines network with two weekly flights via Airbus A330.
