More than 996,000 travelers flew on Hawaiian Airlines flights this August, an increase of 2% over the same month in 2015.
The carrier's load factor also improved year over year in August, climbing 1.2 percentage points, to 84.4%, according to figures released by Hawaiian Sept. 6.
Meanwhile, revenue-producing passenger miles rose 7.1%, to more than 1.4 billion.
Year to date through August, Hawaiian has transported more than 7.4 million travelers, up 3.8% from the same eight-month period in 2015, while the carrier's load factor climbed 2.4 percentage points, to 83.5%.
