Hilton Grand Vacations announced the opening of its latest timeshare property in Hawaii, a new tower in Waikiki that marks the fifth property for HGV on Oahu and eighth total in the state.
The Grand Islander by Hilton Grand Vacations Club is a 38-story tower with 418 one-, two- and three-bedroom suites, and two- and three-bedroom penthouses with full kitchens and private balconies. Each unit is outfitted with custom-made works, such as rugs, furniture and murals. The property also features locally sourced materials in its interior design, and a curated art program spotlighting Hawaiian photographers and artists.
The project broke ground in June 2014, and was developed by Blackston with Hilton Grand Vacations managing the vacation ownership sales, marketing and resort services among other duties.
"The start of sales for The Grand Islander roughly two years ago was the most successful launch of a new timeshare project in our company's history, which signifies the current strength of Hawai'i's visitor industry and speaks to the continued demand for the destination from our HGV members," Mark Wang, president and CEO of Hilton Grand Vacations, said in a release.
Owners and guests at the Grand Islander can use the exclusive outdoor mini-pool, whirlpool and sundeck, or take advantage of all of the amenities at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort, including four pools, a spa, fitness center, numerous shops and restaurants.
