Oahu plans to augment the statewide Aloha Festivals with Ohana Events, a series of special experiences and offers during the festival.
The events include a children's block party at Pearlridge Center Sept. 14, a "Ukulele Legends" performance and presentation at Tiki's Grill and Bar Sept. 22, and a contemporary Hawaiian music concert at the Kahala's Veranda Sept. 22 and 23.
A continually updated list of Ohana Events can be found here. The Aloha Festivals, first held in 1946, are a month-long celebration of Hawaiian culture through music, dance, food and art.
